Tear gas fired at clothes shop, all clothes may require disposal

Riot police fired several tear gas canisters at the junction between Argyle Street and Tung Choi Street. After tear gas drifted into Mee & Gee Import Fashion Shop, first aiders provided care to those who felt unwell. As tear gas chemicals can attach on clothes, it was unsure whether the clothes in the shop could still be sold. A journalist from CityU Student Press found a tear gas canister outside Mee & Gee.

Tear gas also affected a restaurant nearby, causing the diners to suffer badly.
