Riot Police officer Fires Live Round into Sky in Densely Populated Area

On 8th November at 10 p.m., according to witness,  riot police first arrived at the junction of Nathan Road and Pitt Street, followed by protesters shouting, “It’s us or them! Lets go!” and then rushing towards riot police. A riot police officer fired a live ammunition into the air, the bullet casing of which was found by reporter at the junction of Nathan Street and Pitt Street. According to witness, protesters hurled bricks at the police officers, one of whom fired one warning shot into the sky.
