Protester Arrested On October 13 Was Forced to Sing ‘Glory to HK Police’

A 16-year-old male who was arrested on October 13 has been charged with arson and possession of illegal weapon. According to his lawyer, police mistreated the arrestee by threatening to beat him to death, forcing him to sing ‘Glory to HK Police’, and stating that they and the judge “absolutely hate Vietnamese”. They even threatened to arrest his entire family. The lawyer also stated that Molotov cocktail was not found in the protester’s home, and the Molotov cocktail did not show any signs of fire or burn when it was found. As well, the police forcibly conducted a search of his home without warrant or consensus from the protester.
