Police’s tear gas shooting rampage affect McDonald’s and Bank
A group of protesters shouted and shook the bars outside Mong Kok Police Station. Officers fired several tear gas grenades from the inside of the police station, the scene was filled with tear gas. One of them is suspected to have entered the location of Hang Seng Bank ATM, triggering an alarm. The owner of a newspaper stall in Portland Street, who was an old lady, also felt unwell from the tear gas attack and had to be treated by volunteer first aiders on the spot. There was tear gas entering a McDonald’s restaurant nearby, some staff and civilians also felt unwell, and volunteer first aiders arrived at the scene.
