Police protect Blue Ribbon vandalising civilians’ property, dropped off and picked up by police vehicle

On the ground floor of Yuen Long Station, several people brought along ladders and shovels to clear the Lennon Wall set up by protesters yesterday morning. When the two sides got into a quarrel, uniformed police officers were called to the scene to build a defence line to separate the people who cleaned the Lennon Wall from the journalists. The “cleaners” continued to tear up the paper inside the line, and eventually the officers escorted them out in a police car. One of the officers said, “Go on, let’s go. Thing are going to happen again if you are surrounded by people.”
