Police polluting mosques, intentionally firing colored water at muslims

At around 4 o’clock in the afternoon, thee police’s specialised crowd management vehicles
anti-riot vehicle with water cannons (commonly known as water cannon truck) fired at the direction of a mosque, dyeing the mosque door blue, despite there being no protesters in the exteriors of the mosque, but only reporters and citizens spontaneously protecting the mosque.

At that moment, nobody on site were chanting slogans, nor were they protesting. The crowd, including legislator Jeremy Tam, were sprayed. When a non-Chinese elder appears to be heavily affected, passerbys got together saline to help him clean up.

According to Jeremy Tam’s Facebook page, the group sprayed, including Mohan Chugani, former chairman of the India Association Hong Kong, a member of Hong Kong Unison, several citizens, and Tam, headed to a hospital to seek medical attention.

The police later claimed in their regular press conference that the incident was only an “accident”, and they didn’t have the intention to attack the mosque.

However, in the 27th and 30th of October, a clip of the control room of the water cannon truck circulated across the internet. In the clip, it is shown the water cannon truck has a precise aiming system, refuting the police’s claim of the incident being an “accident”.
