Police officers baton-charges retreating protesters without any warning
At 6pm , police officers assailed several female protesters who were retreating from the front-line without retaliating. The girl in black was beaten on the back many times, while the white one was hit on her arms. The unarmed protesters were beaten with batons by the police force without any prior warnings, and several of them were even beaten badly, ending up with their heads broken and bleeding. Before that, some police officers had been violently pulling off face-masks and beating the protesters with batons on San Fung Road in Sheung Shui.
