OUT-OF-CONTROL RIOT POLICE YELLED “GO AWAY” AND “COME CLOSER” SIMULTANEOUSLY FOR PROVOCATION

At approximately 20:00, a group of police officers raised the blue flag across the Fung Cheung Road, saying that the all people present were breaching public peace by clamor.

A plainclothes officer subsequently rushed forward and clamored, yelling “go away” and “come closer” to provoke the protesters. He was recalled by other officers as he was walking forward and standing alone.

Regulation 3, Part I of the  Police (Discipline) Regulations (Cap. 232A):
2) The offences against discipline are—
(c) conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline;
(j) making a statement which is false in a material particular in the course of his duty or in connexion with the discharge by the police force of any of its duties or functions.
