Barnabas, cutters and pliers are found in the car of 8.25 arrestees, suspected to be accused of possession of offensive weapon
During the “Demonstration of Tsuen Wan, Kuai Chung and Tsing Yi” in August, 2019, a private car was being stopped and search, and found a spanner, cutter etc. The driver was being arrested instantly, and being charged of “Possession of offensive weapon wth intent”. The case was postponed to 25th March.
An IT technician (25 yo) was charged on 25/8/2019 for keeping a cutter, two spanners and a plier at 49-51 Chung On Street, Tsuen Wan.
The prosecution stated they are ready to file a response, then defence applied for postpooning to 25/3, for claiming docments of the prosecution and for legal advice. The defendant is ratified to bail with the requirements of paying HKD$500, not leaving Hong Kong, having a curfew at 00:00-06:00, reporting to the police station two times a week etc.
